Thank You — Request Received | RX Relay AZ Medical Courier

Request Received

Got it — your request is in front of Todd, not a lead queue.

Requests sent during dispatch hours — Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Arizona time — get a reply the same business day. Anything that comes in overnight or on a weekend is answered first thing the next business morning.

Is this a STAT run happening right now?

Do not wait on email. Call dispatch and you reach the courier directly — the same person who will be driving it.

What Happens Next

Three steps, and none of them involve a ticket number

Step 01

Todd reads it himself

There is no sales team and no lead-routing queue. The owner reads the request, checks it against the current route schedule, and decides whether RX Relay AZ can actually cover it.

Step 02

A short call to pin down the details

Pickup and delivery points, timing against your receiving lab's cutoff, temperature requirements, and volume. Ten minutes on the phone settles what a week of emails would not.

Step 03

A trial run before any commitment

Most clients start with one route or one STAT run and judge it on the turnaround. Paperwork for your vendor file comes over before the first pickup, not after.

If RX Relay AZ is not the right fit for your volume or geography, you will be told that directly rather than strung along. A single-driver courier cannot cover six cities simultaneously at 7:00 AM, and pretending otherwise would just cost you a missed run.

Before The Call

Have these handy and the first call takes five minutes

None of it is required to get a quote — it just means Todd can give you a real number and a real pickup window on the first call instead of the second.

  • Pickup and delivery addresses, plus any access notes — back door, suite number, after-hours code, or where the cooler actually sits.
  • Timing. When specimens are ready, and what time your receiving lab stops accepting.
  • Volume. Coolers or containers per run, and stops per day or per week.
  • Temperature requirement. Ambient, refrigerated, frozen, or dry ice — and whose packaging configuration is the validated one.
  • Regulated material, if any — whether the shipment includes UN 3373 Category B specimens and who prepares and marks the triple packaging.
  • After-hours needs. Weekend, holiday, or on-call coverage you would want available.

Need paperwork for vendor onboarding?

Credentialing is usually the slowest part of adding a courier, so it does not have to wait for the call. Ask and these come over right away:

Business Associate Agreement — executed with covered entities on request.

Certificate of insurance — current, and naming your facility where your process requires it.

Reply to the confirmation email or call dispatch and say what your compliance team needs to see. If something on your checklist cannot be provided, you will be told plainly rather than given a runaround.

One note on patient information

Please keep patient names, dates of birth and medical record numbers out of email and web forms. Volumes, routes and requirements can be discussed in general terms now; anything patient-specific belongs on a call or under a signed BAA.
